Fast funding runs on east-coast time
Most lenders, settlement agents and bank payment systems work to Sydney and Melbourne business hours. That's fine if you're on the east coast, but a Perth business loses two to three hours of the working day to the time difference, and Adelaide and Darwin sit half an hour behind Sydney in winter. From 4 October 2026 to 4 April 2027, daylight saving in NSW, Victoria, SA, Tasmania and the ACT widens the gap for Queensland, WA and the NT, which don't change their clocks.

Can I get a fast business loan if I'm not in a capital city?
